Jason Colton

Floor Lead

Jason sees to the day-to-day operations of the Lombard Adolescent Growth facility and works closely with our clients to ensure that their days in treatment are productive, comfortable and curative. Jason wears many hats in his role as Floor Lead, but he always finds the time to get to know each teen in our program and offer them his guidance, support and a listening ear.

Jason initially began his career at the University of Illinois – seeking a degree in Information Decision Sciences.  But after some candid soul-searching, he realized that this was not his purpose. Instead, he devoted the next 10 years to work at a skilled nursing facility for elderly dementia and Alzheimer’s patients and another 5 years as an organizer for charitable fund-raisers. Jason received a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Aurora University and found his calling working with the clients at Adolescent Growth.

Jason brings a positive attitude wherever he goes and to whomever, he meets and sees his primary responsibility as a Floor Manager to ensure that every person who walks through our doors is as comfortable as possible, whether they be a client, parent, or member of the staff.

Jason enjoys working at Adolescent Growth because he loves being a part of the journey that each of our clients is undertaking.  “To see each client, persevere and show themselves and their families how capable they are, is one of my greatest joys”.

When he is not at Adolescent Growth, Jason enjoys listening to live music, playing guitar, and rock-climbing.
