A native of Whittier, California, Madalyn learned at an early age that no one goes through life unscathed. It was through her own life experiences and those of others that her passion to help hurting individuals was sparked. Madalyn obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services at California State University, Fullerton and later received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at California Baptist University in Riverside. Madalyn specializes in helping struggling young people and underwent the majority of her training in those types of environments.
Her knowledge base stems from working therapeutically with youth, women and adolescents in areas such as crisis pregnancy centers, shelters for runaways, trafficked youth, foster children, adolescents in the juvenile system, adopted youth and youth experiencing trauma and struggles at home. Above all, Madalyn finds joy in watching people take difficult and tragic experiences in life and turning them into opportunities for growth, empowerment and hope.
When she is not working, Madalyn describes herself as a “pin-a-holic.” Madalyn spends her time on Pinterest gathering recipes and DIY projects. She also enjoys hiking with her beloved husband and she often uses yoga and essential oils to unwind and relax.
